interior renovations
This slightly crooked townhouse apartment posed an interesting challenge. We needed to provide adequate space and comfort to a downsizing "empty nester" couple, who were looking to return to a more urban lifestyle.
North Hills Basement Renovation
One month after purchasing this home, a storm ruined the finished basement. The homeowner took the opportunity to improve upon the previous design with our assistance. By incorporating creative soffit shapes, we were able to hide heating ducts and pipes, while making the soffits look like intentional design elements.
Audubon Basement Renovation
Another finished basement with a pool table, but the design also created space for a ping pong table, large bar, powder room, and television viewing area.
Kirsch family Basement Renovation
In my own basement, I chose to open the space up by removing a column and wood beam and then replacing them with a long, steel beam. This was key to creating the space necessary for a new pool table. Additionally, I added a gas fireplace, bathroom, bar, laundry room, exercise area, and plenty of storage through creative, efficient design.
